Designer Kenneth Brown added shimmery olive green window treatments to make a dramatic statement against this bedroom's pale green walls and white floor. The gold- and beige-toned bedding was given a warm dose of color with an aubergine throw and copper accent pillows.
In addition to a comfortable siting area, complete with two armchairs and a tufted ottoman, this master bedroom boasts a sewing station. Desk drawers with detailed mesh fronts speak to the built-ins nearby.
Horseshoes, saddles and cowboy attire decorate this transitional boy's nursery. Traditional white furnishings keep the space from feeling too dark and overly masculine. Designed by Emily Mackie of Inspired Interiors.
Kid's Green and White Contemporary Room With Swing
This adorable contemporary kid's room is a playful style wonderland. A child-sized loft in the back makes a sweet tucked-away play space. A hammock swing waits to be curled up in. And the green, white and orange palette is one that stretches across genders and ages.
A new wider double crank fully operable window behind the canopy bed floods the space with lots of natural light and allows fresh air inside. The window also acts as a faux "headboard" for the modern canopy bed.
Traditional Green Bedroom With White Ceiling Beams
Windows fill this serene bedroom with natural light. Designer Kristie Barnett decorated with a soft green color palette, with the hue found in everything from the walls to the armchair to the curtains, bed skirt and area rug. Antique-style furniture pieces and a beamed ceiling give the room a charming, live-in character.
The master bedroom has a refined style. "This is much more formal than any other room in the house, but the bold color makes it a little more fun and not really stuffy," says interior designer Brian Patrick Flynn.
