This beautiful dining room uses color and texture to create a warm, stylish space. Sleek elements like the black dining chairs go wonderfully well with the layered textures, from the rattan pendants to the rustic wood table.
This home's original 90s modern look was reworked to be more of a minimalist, contemporary design. Panels of bold blue and white are tempered by the warm wood details. A sculptural brass chandelier lights things from overhead.
Blue and green accents are a colorful extension of the living area's natural palette. The colors are used in other rooms as well and pair so prettily with the shiplap paneling and white oak beams. High ceilings help the space feel huge.
For this warm, Moroccan inspired kitchen, all of the cabinets were custom made and lacquered white. To add visual interest to the design, custom panels of hand scraped White Oak laid out in a chevron pattern cover the refrigerator and freezer. Finally, un-lacquered brass appliance pulls, drawer pulls and cabinet hardware to finish the design.
The all-white aesthetic creates a wonderful sense of calm, but that doesn’t mean small doses of high-energy color are unwelcome. It’s just the opposite, actually. Highly saturated color used sparingly always feels a little optimistic when paired to a fresh, crisp white.
