The bed isn’t the only place for relaxing in this bedroom. A chaise lounge in the bedroom promises many hours of comfort, staring lazily out the window at the unique ironwork that Malene designed herself. The lounge is topped with a cushion from a favorite local store in the area, Peace and Riot.
Whimsical Hygge & West wallpaper sets the scene for this serene girly bedroom. Adding to the playfulness, a hanging chair makes for a fun reading spot. Bookshelves that look like a cityscape keep the space organized and a lilac area rug adds style underfoot.
Pale lavender walls give old fashioned charm to this bedroom, enhanced by the bed's colorful quilt. Light wood is an uplifting choice for the dresser and nightstand and underfoot, a sheepskin rug is a welcome treat for bare feet.
Gray and black trellis-patterned wallpaper creates a stunning focal wall in this contemporary bedroom. A deep charcoal upholstered headboard with nailhead trim stands out against the wall and is flanked by matching nightstands, lamps and sunburst mirrors.
While this spa-like bathroom has a contemporary, linear look, it’s softened by the textured accent wall in a floral pattern and the arced shower wall. The curved motif is repeated in the lines of the sinks and the freestanding tub.
If your living room lacks the square footage to accommodate end tables, consider forgoing them in favor of a table positioned behind the sofa. Here, the empty space on each side of the sofa allows for proper flow to and from the nearby kitchen; however, the sofa table still allows enough tabletop surface to display decorative objects and table lamps.
Plum, fuchsia and black may not be at the top of every manly man's favorite color list, but when properly balanced the outcome is just as well suited to Jack as it is Jill. The key to mixing these colors correctly is to vary the intensities of the pinks and purples, then use black to break up the two similar hues.
Salvaging the structural beams from the former building allowed this entertainment pavillion to be built. It includes a wide-screen television, bar and refrigerator. The two banquette seats have storage areas underneath for entertainment supplies.
