I had initially planned to plant an all-white garden with just shades of silver, gray and white but quickly found I am incapable of that kind of discipline when it comes to a garden color palette. I have been instead been very happy to spin the color wheel and embrace every shade imaginable. My inspiration and ultimate garden goal is to create something close to the slightly wild, lush gardens that the British do so well.
Part of the charm of this resort's landscape design is how the residences are incorporated seamlessly into the gardens. Here, Adirondack chairs are nestled next to large blooms of flowers and ornamental grass.
