Decorative lighting, natural texture and a pop of matte color combine to create this elegant country entryway. A natural wood frame encompasses natural rock walls and a blue door. Neutral walls and flooring finish the beautiful color palette.
Dutch doors have their perks; in addition to complementing the home's country setting, this one fills the foyer with fresh air and natural light. As guests walk in, they'll also pass a reclaimed wood console table and horse lamp on their way to the kitchen.
The side entrance has the utility of a mudroom with its tiled floors, storage console and umbrella rack. A guest house to the east echoes the main residence with a gambrel roof, covered porches and shingled facade.
A dark bench and plush throw pillows welcome visitors to this home. The red tones in the pillows tie in to the bold red front door, while artwork hanging in the adjacent stairwell adds yet more inviting color.
The raised landing in the foyer is the result of a structural challenge. To facilitate the raised entrance, a landing with stone tile was added in the foyer, with a step-down into the opened up living space. Seafoam green paint and natural wood walls create a beautiful and welcoming look.
A reclaimed wood ceiling and shiplap walls give this entryway a touch of farmhouse style. To complete the warm and welcoming look, the designers finished the space off with a distressed console table and a vintage rug.
