This creative storage space was designed by TriplePoint Design Build to accommodate books and living room knickknacks in the entryway of this remodeled home. The bookcases and columns, which were painted white to match to ceiling and trim of the home, divide the foyer from the living room. The size of the cubby space mirrors the sidelight cutouts above the front door for an interesting effect.
Hardwood flooring leads up to the wood staircase where the direction of the wood grain changes guiding the movement through the foyer space. A soft sea green wall color above the lower wall white paneling adds subtle color to the design. A rich wood piano is complimented with a stained glass lamp creating an inviting look.
Built-ins on both sides of this craft room provide ample storage space for supplies, while a custom island in the center provides work space for projects. The pale green cabinets add a subtle splash of color without overwhelming the small room.
