A green, distressed antique cabinet adds character, texture and color to this all-white sitting area. A fern and snake plant make the space feel homey and inviting and bring in a natural element for an eclectic vibe.

This lush, imaginative sitting room was inspired by Norfolk, England's Houghton Hall. The wallpaper's beautiful patterns and colors come even more alive paired with a shiny pink sofa. Antiques fill tabletops, walls and corners with their stories.
Traditional black floor-to-ceiling shelving and cabinetry provide ample storage space in this glamorous sitting area. Contemporary furniture is given an industrial twist with chrome features and is paired with rich black upholstery. A chic gray area rug is added to bring in a pop of contrast.
A sultry game room was created in a bonus space above a garage on this lavish estate. A unique sitting area was formed by pairing a velvet patterned chaise longue, hand-carved pedestal side table and damask upholstered side chair. A hand-painted silk Fortuny floor lamp and mica-shaded tall candelabra provide the soft lighting needed during intimate conversations.
The seating area by the den’s windows includes a blue ash tufted sofa with round tapering legs flanked by two comfy Caribbean blue arm chairs with tufted side cushions. Guests can rest drinks on the round modern coffee tables that have a black metal cage base and a white lacquered top.
As fresh as a summer breeze, this sitting room features an all-white color palette with accents of pale blue and red. A fireplace cozies up the space when temperatures drop and a long sofa and chair ensures seating for all.

Pops of turquoise mix with neutrals in the room's chic sitting area to create a cozy space ideal for entertaining. To complement the neutral palette, Sarah replaced damaged hardwood floors with pre-finished, eco-friendly eucalyptus flooring.
This sitting room is as cozy as can be thanks to pretty pillows, striped throws and a huge area rug! Two tan chairs pull right up to the ottoman so that the owners can chat or grab a book and read from the stack.
