A chic but rustic master bathroom with a timeless shiplap wall treatment, honed floor tiles that lead to a white dual bath vanity adorned with polished nickel hardware and a white quartz countertop finished with rectangular sinks.
As seen on Rocky Mountain Reno, the couple renovating this log cabin in Minturn, Colorado was interested in bringing both rustic and modern designs together to make the home of their dreams. The clean, white tile, grey stone vanity and grey patterned and mosaic tile, the modern style is greatly represented. To incorporate the rustic design, Trista used natural wood in places like the exposed beams in the ceiling and natural wood baseboards.
Deep, moody green interiors are taking the design world by storm, and bathrooms are no exception. Consider a hue like hunter, olive, forest, jade or emerald for the walls, and balance its intensity with a light, natural wood vanity and jute accents. Matte black fixtures and ceramics complete this look. The trendy palette works well with rustic, modern farmhouse and Southwestern design styles.
To add texture, color and contrast, the walls of this bathroom were clad with reclaimed barn siding featuring different shades of gray, brown and white. In order to attach the siding, each plank was cut to size with a circular saw, lightly sanded to help smooth the surface, then installed to the wall with a nail gun.
Although slightly unconventional, this sliding barn door in reclaimed wood is a fun and offbeat means of introducing a new bathroom renovation brought to you by Pure Design Interiors! The door makes a strong statement in its hardware, dark color and rolling closure, yet radiates a whimsical charm nonetheless.
This generously sized bathroom in the HGTV Dream Home 2006 is lined with a peg rail, with pegs made from branches of mountain laurel. The wood theme plays out again in the rough-wood framed mirror over the deep double sink. The sink, reminiscent of an old-fashioned laundry sink, offers plenty of room for multiple people to wash up at once.
This bathroom features light green walls paired with gray floor tiles and a natural wood paneled ceiling. A drop-in bathtub is encased in gray tiles, while a glass door allows for easy patio access. Large windows showcase mountain views and evergreen landscaping, bringing a touch of the outdoors to the inside space.
Rustic stone lines the lower half of this bathroom and is the backsplash for the tub and the countertop for the vanity. The resulting look is simple but perfectly appealing with luxe details like the deep soaking tub.
Kelly & Co. Design didn't miss a single detail when transforming a barn into a music/entertainment space, as evidenced by this rustic bathroom. The ceiling was contracted from reclaimed wood, and the walls were covered in a cream-colored material that gives the space a clean, industrial aesthetic. A double sink vanity with rustic wood cabinetry completes the look.
