The luxurious bathroom in this one-of-a-kind Houston, TX home features a crisp, white color palette, with patterned marble tiles along the floor, a spacious walk-in shower, and an inviting, square soaking tub.
Floating his-and-her sinks ensure that the owners have plenty of elbow room in this attached bathroom. The modern space also includes two chrome pendant lights, a matching towel rack and a glass-enclosed shower.
This powder room makeover features soft green textured walls paired with classic white trim and natural hardwood floors. Neutral floral Roman shades decorate the windows, while a rectangular vanity sink adds a modern touch.
This powder room is a striking combination of traditional and modern, with an antique gold mirror and contemporary wall paper, pink vessel sink with gold faucet, modern wood vanity, and pink and gold wall sconces.
The contemporary color scheme and accents are well-suited for a boys' or guest bath. Gray tile smartly wraps around the shower and soaking tub; wide-plank wood floors and a sliding barn door bring a softening earthy touch.
This transitional-style bathroom uses a white tile shower along with white wainscoting to create a clean and fresh look. Light gray paint adds a touch of darker color while keeping the space light. The gray is echoed in the marble countertop on the dark wood vanity.
An attached bath gives the owners room to cool off after a long day by the water. Smooth gray tile surrounds the spacious tub, adding subtle interest to the white walls, while sconce and recessed lighting further the clean design.
This lovely bathroom achieves a look that's both sophisticated and fresh. Gray subway tile backsplashes are a crisp backdrop for the walk-in shower and heavenly soaking tub, while a rustic barn door entrance brings softness to the space. Unusual vertical skylights flood the room with light.
Stock the bathroom vanity with the little amenities your guests may have forgotten to pack, such as cotton balls, toothpaste, a toothbrush and a razor. Even the most organized travelers will forget something, so having those items readily on-hand will save them frustration. Design by Sarah Richardson
In his family's home in northern Italy, designer Brian Boitano of The Brian Boitano Project transforms a dark space into a rustic Italian bathroom. As a nod to the home's heritage, Brian leaves areas of the home's original stone walls exposed while stone vessel sinks and a zinc tub add to the bathroom's Old World feel.
Jessica Helgerson uses Daltile in a 3 x 6 white brick and chooses a thin-set rather than a thicker setting bed to cover the walls in this bathroom. For added detailing, she drops the ceiling around the exposed-leg vanity to create a little niche. The floor is a limestone hexagon pattern that adds visual interest.
