Bluestone patio, a cedar roof structure, and all natural veneer and wall stone create an elegant, contemporary outdoor living and dining space with a rustic charm. A long light fixture compliments the long wooden dining table. Wood chairs with neutral seat cushions line the table and a trio of lanterns create a simple centerpiece decor.
Angled roof sections on the home paired with a bright white exterior create a glowing backdrop for this simple pergola structure. The clean lines of the wood formation sit over concrete patio flooring. A wood fence frames the outer perimeter of the yard adding privacy and closing off the yard.
This small patio is fitted with a wood dining table adorned with a striped tablecloth for the perfect alfresco dining experience. The corner fireplace is a unique stone structure accompanied by a small grill, adding warm ambiance and convenience.
This modern home is custom-fitted to its wooded, sloping site. Bold red trim makes the otherwise neutral structure stand out against a backdrop of trees. A fenced, modern garden features raised beds that are visible from a bi-level deck and covered patio.
Wood steps lead you from the patio into this luxurious, modern cabana area. The sharp corners of the structure are immediately softened with flowing curtains on every side and a cozy and inviting white sectional decorated with alternating white and turquoise throw pillows.
A bright, boldly patterned rug mixes with other colorful textiles to anchor the dining area of this eclectic courtyard. A large-scale, two-toned globe pendant hangs above to light up the space. The patio’s wood structure is lined with mesh screening that filters light and provides privacy.
The wooden deck and stairs were problematic for the homeowners in terms of maintenance and also entertaining. So, it was replaced by a new stained concrete deck featuring steel railing and supporting columns to coordinate with other site elements. Designer Heather Garrett and her team increased the deck's footprint by a few feet to allow for additional seating and a convenient grilling space right off of the main living area. The new structure was designed to keep rain out of the patio below, so Garrett and her team seized the opportunity to improve the ground-level patio space by adding motorized screens, five ceiling fans, wood storage for the fire pit and an outdoor television. The aging patio slab was replaced by a new contemporary paver system and its footprint was enlarged to create more area for lounging.
