Red and white roses mixed with beautiful greenery form an arch to bring a whimsical feel to an outdoor ceremony. A white entry table serves as the perfect place for the unity ceremony as the two love birds become one. Watering a tree and filling containers with sand are just a couple ways for you and your spouse to symbolize your unity.

Roses in the Romantica series, from Star Roses & Plants, have old-fashioned flower forms with new and improved disease resistance. ‘Moonlight Romantica,’ the newest rose in the line, is very fragrant, with large, light yellow flowers suffused with white. The bushy, vigorous plants grow to 6 feet in zones 6-9. Grow this variety in a cutting garden.
English Rose 'Tranquillity' has beautifully rounded flowers with neatly placed petals, making up a perfect rosette. The buds are lightly brushed with red and yellow but as the flowers fully open the petals show as pure white. There is a light apple fragrance. 'Tranquillity' has excellent vigor and is very healthy. It is almost completely thornless. Grows to 4 feet tall x 3 feet wide, although it could easily grow taller if lightly pruned. Repeat-flowering. (David Austin 2012, Ausnoble).

English Rose 'Winchester Cathedral' as a Tree Rose - Here is a white offspring of David Austin's stellar variety 'Mary Rose'. It has all the virtues of the parent and is similar in every way except color. In 'Winchester Cathedral' the flowers are white with the slightest touch of buff-pink at the center. It has a strong and delicious fragrance of Old Rose character with a hint of honey and almond blossom. Repeat-flowering. Grows to 4 ft tall by 4 ft wide. (David Austin 1988, Auscar).
David Austin's 'Snow Goose' is a repeat-flowering rambler rose that blooms abundantly, is very healthy and reliable and relatively thornless -- qualities that make it particularly useful as a climber or tall shrub. It has a delicious sweet musk fragrance. The white double flowers are reminiscent of pom poms, with daisy-like narrow petals neatly arranged around yellow stamens. It grows 8 to10 ft high, bearing large sprays of the small to medium sized flowers. The stems are easy to train over an arch or across a wall, fence or trellis. (David Austin 1996, Auspom). Note: in the foreground is the white-flowered English Rose 'Susan Williams-Ellis'.
