When water damage required the kitchen's lower cabinets to be removed and replaced, designers used the moment to lighten the room's look overall. Upper cabinets, walls and countertops were all made a fresh white. Lower cabinets in dark green anchored the look.
Refinishing these kitchen cabinets and painting them white helped to lighten and brighten the space. As is seen throughout the home, the white elements are offset by dark ones, here in the countertops and appliances.
Neutral stone tile makes up the backsplash of this traditional kitchen. A produce basket and repurposed antique basket sits on top of granite countertops. Traditional white cabinets with bronze drawer pulls provide storage for plates and pots.
