In this sleek, renovated penthouse, the design team kept intact the living room's intricately carved ceiling beams, which were designed by the home's original architect, Leland Bryant. The beams articulate the cathedral ceiling and draw the eye downward to the living room’s art-lined walls. The space features an original fireplace, as well as a sofa by modern furniture designer Milo Baughman. A pair of velvet and chrome armchairs were designed specifically for the room by architect Tim Barber to add color and anchor the tall space.
