An all-over white palette paired with dark brown hardwood floors gives this bathroom a crisp, modern look. Black and gray mosaic tiles created a block pattern on the white shower walls, while a gray roof-like structure separates the space, allowing the bathtub to seem divided from the other areas of the bathroom.
This renovated master bathroom has fresh white paint, windows, his-and-her vanity and vessel sinks, a modern mirror and light fixtures, creating a spa-like bathroom. A spacious white-tile shower is in place of the old bathtub to make room for a door to the relocated master bedroom.
The monochromatic white palette shows you don’t need to add color to the walls, countertops or floors to make a bathroom stylish, says Ili Hidalgo-Nilsson, architect and designer with Terracotta Design Build. The Atlanta firm renovated the outdated bathroom, removing the heavy tilework from the walls and creating a clean, modern bathroom with open shelves. They also opted against extras such as crown molding.
Designer Jennifer Duneier mixes chrome, brushed nickel and glass fixtures seamlessly in this contemporary bathroom. Large white tiles and clean-lined chrome vanity enhance the modern design elements, giving way to a graceful freestanding tub.
