A wood-tone island grounds this open and airy kitchen, which has white cabinetry lining its perimeter. Glass doors show off decorative items inside the cabinets, and a black and white backsplash creates a focal point in the space.
Designer Matty Adler of Echelon Custom Homes hoped to give this artistic homeowner exactly what she wanted in his kitchen design plan: an inspiring dose of red and plenty of artwork to fill the space with color in between. Matty added fire-engine red appliances to match the red-and-white checkerboard backsplash then added a hand-blown Murano glass chandelier above the sink to introduce even more unique color and energy into the room.
The celebrity owned restaurant, Wahlburgers boasts a fully stocked, contemporary bar with a 6 flat screens making it the perfect to watch the game with a tasty burger and a drink. A white, brick tile backsplash brightens up the space that features a hardwood ceiling, walls, and countertop.
By opting for floating shelves over cupboards, designer Sarah Stacey ensured that the black-and-white backsplash would stand out even more. Notice how herringbone tile floors bring visual interest to the space as well.
Rather than hide her cups, plates and bowls from view, owner and designer Sarah Wittenbraker decided to showcase them via glass-fronted cabinets. Down below, a blue-and-white backsplash adds even more interest to the room.
