This all-white dining room boasts colorful accents, like the modern artwork that hangs above a metal console table with a white top. A pink, orange and neutral striped upholstered bench adds a fun touch, while floral throw pillows finish off the look of the space.
A vivid cobalt blue accent wall in a custom paint finish creates a sizzling focal point for this contemporary bedroom. A white leather headboard adds a luxurious feel while the sleek lines of a framed art collage keeps the room feeling crisp and clean.

Fun black and white floor tiles and modern art add spunk to this functional mudroom. The space was added as a spot for the family to store its coats, shoes and backpacks. Pops of bright yellow in the art and lighting stand out against the white walls, trim and ceiling. The window is a reproduction based on an original window design seen elsewhere in the Victorian home.
“The trick to tackling a huge room like this is to divide it up into zones and that's just what this design trio does so well,” says designer Candice Olson. “There is an area to take in the view; a sprawling wall shelf that doubles as both display and seating; (great for those big LA parties); and a main conversation grouping that floats in front of the fireplace. I think the wall art is the strongest element in this space. Large tree-motif panels suit the grand scale of the space, as does the ingenious bubble-wrap wall hanging backed with a very current fretwork graphic — someone’s going to Design Heaven for that move. And can we talk about the pink ducks?! The 3-D element of these wooden sculptures animates the massive fireplace wall but this team doesn’t stop there. A quart of neon-pink paint has these ducks kicking sand in the feathered faces of their pink flamingo cousins. It’s this touch of the unexpected that prevents a serious room like this from looking too somber and that can make a good design a great one. As strong as the wall art is, I feel the decorative elements placed along the wall shelves and mantel are suffering from a case of "Honey, I shrunk the accessories." Big rooms need big accessories — lamps, candlesticks or pedestals, ceramics and mirrors — all large-scaled to suit. I would have opted for a huge, free-form, wood coffee table. Glass tends to visually disappear and is a better choice to help keep the feeling open and uncluttered in small spaces.”
A herringbone floor pattern breaks up the expected movement of the hardwood boards. The light hardwood fits well with the soft gray wall coloring and white molding. Built in in-wall shelves with individual lighting create an art gallery like hallway.
This contemporary entryway features a textured ebony accent wall featuring modern artwork, that provides stark contrast against the otherwise white walls. A metal and glass console table gives the area a unique edge, while a simple square wall mirror rounds out the overall look.

Located just off the kitchen, this spacious white living room features an elegant collection of books, art and upholstered furniture. Copper accents shine against the large cream-colored area rug, which adds dimension to the overall space.
Unique seating and interesting art add character and drama to this loft-like California bedroom. A dark accent wall screens the room from a stairwell surrounded by wall-sized windows. The animal hide rug and chipper tartan bedding bring a fun, eclectic vibe to the decor.
A vinyl record player brings a throwback touch to this sitting room, which is artfully designed to be modern with a hint of Art Deco. Gold accents, including the round coffee table, chair legs and even the speckled animal hide rug, add a touch of glamour. Black and white photography is playful, yet sophisticated.
The white leather sectional and supersized flokati area rug give this downtown condo a lush and modern feel. The hand painted art adds visual interest to the wall space while the view does the rest of the work.
