In the living room, designers wanted to create a timeless, intimate space for the homeowners, so they started with a patterned rug and chose pieces of furniture that had some of the same colors. Then, they implemented a mix of materials such as glass, wood, metal and textiles to make the space eclectic, yet soft and warm, creating a grand room that is still very homey, welcoming and comfortable.
