The mirror in this modern bathroom is an antique medicine cabinet that has been painted silver to match the lighting and piping in the space. This mirror not only adds a touch of vintage style, but it also gives the space a little extra storage.
TriplePoint Design Build cleverly fashioned a small, out-of-the-way area to disguise the toilet for their Art Deco-style master bathroom redo. A medicine cabinet and a decorative flower arrangement in white complete the look.
For a budget bathroom update, Patti Wagner and her husband replaced the damaged green floor tiles with inexpensive hexagon-shaped white tiles in their Minneapolis home. “The white floor really makes the room look bigger,” says Wagner, a senior product designer for Target. They also maximized the small space by keeping the existing pedestal sink and large medicine cabinet. Towel hooks also are great for small bathrooms, because they don't take up much space and you can place them anywhere, she says.
This neutral bathroom features a simple white pedestal sink paired with a small medicine cabinet. Tan grasscloth wallpaper covers the walls, while marble tiles line the shower. An Aubrey Hepburn print hangs above the toilet, adding a vintage touch to the space.
The softness of this bathroom makes it a warm and inviting space for the kids to enjoy. A window allows in plenty of natural light, which reflects off the neutral color palette to make the space bright, warm and inviting. The silver accents and exposed pipe give the space a rougher personality, while the vintage aspects of the space, such as the cool clawfoot tub and the antique medicine cabinet, make it more fun.
