Worldly and Globally Inspired Great Room
The goal was to give the home a worldly and globally inspired feel so new custom designs, textural fabrics and finishes were incorporated along with Asian and African artifacts and antiques. Habachy Designs imagined the occupants of this home as well-traveled, and the objects in the home were artifacts and cherished tokens of their trips around the world.
The area rug, as well as the lounge chairs, are custom pieces designed by Habachy Designs. The great room was an expansive, extended oval, and it posed a challenge as to how to divide the room into separate living spaces. In order to emphasize the curvature of the architecture, Habachy Designs mimicked the shape in the tone-on-tone rug. This allowed for a focal area and living space to be created that would be harmonious with the entirety of the great room.

Manicured Outdoor Space With Dining Area And Swimming Pool
This backyard is ideal for outdoor entertaining, from the detailed landscaping to the swimming pool. Guests can enjoy a meal outdoors at the formal dining table for eight, a drink by the rolling bar cart, and a stroll by the pool.
This view of the island highlights the brushed-finished stainless top that has a smooth look and doesn’t show as many fingerprints or scratches as polished alternatives. The island top offers lots of usable space for preparing meals, unloading groceries and chatting with guests.
This galley kitchen in Decatur, Ga., was designed to be a functional yet stylish space that allows for effortless cooking and entertaining. Thus, the room features a deep sink and stainless appliances, gorgeous green cabinets and a wood dining table that seats six.
White subway tile spans the length of this bathroom, making the space seem clean and modern. To complement the look, the designers brought in a sleek mirror, floating vanity and glass door for the stall shower.
The design wish behind this living room: Create a peaceful space that feels contemporary and yet honors the apartment's original details, like the exposed brick wall and the marble fireplace. Muted colors help those elements shine. The coffee table is made of a vintage Moroccan brass tea tray.
