Neutral Transitional Library With Wood-Paneled Walls
Dark gray paneled walls surround this transitional library, creating a cozy, comfortable space. A leather nail-head-studded sofa is flanked by two pivoting sconces and rough iron bookshelves for study necessities. A large framed art piece behind the sofa adds a pop of color to the space's neutral palette.
Bright Traditional Dining Room With a Coastal View
A bright and airy traditional dining room is the perfect spot to enjoy family dinners in this coastal home. Soft yellow walls and white windows make for an inviting, seaside experience. Comfy, burnt orange chairs round the dining table where a bouquet of yellow roses are displayed as the centerpiece.
The large dining table in the dining area of this beach house pulls in the feel of the sea with the intricate detail in the backs of the dining chairs, while the fixture above the table adds elegance to the design of the space.
Luxury marble tile creates an almost seamless look on this classic white bathroom with complimentary mosaic tile floor. Mixing these two tile materials adds texture and depth to the monochromatic space.
Designer Jeff Troyer moved the front door from the living room to this central area, allowing the space to function as a sitting room, music room and foyer for the family. A brown L-shaped sofa is tucked into one corner of the room, while a set of three nesting tables is positioned on top of a gray area rug.
An inlaid border on the marble floors delineates the entry in this showstopping seaside home. The space offers a peek into all the main-floor rooms, which flow well together but maintain unique functions. Window treatment and upholstery fabrics are by Kravet and give the space additional style.
Contemporary Dining Room With Striped Lacquered Table
A show-stopping table in lacquered stripes of red, silver, black and white creates a fun spot for a dinner party and a dramatic focal point in this New Jersey dining room. Eight Parsons chairs seem to float beside the table on acrylic legs.
A large, elegant island opens up to the family room, and a rustic farm table in front of the island serves as a cozy spot for family dining and entertaining. As reclaimed 100-year old barn wood adorns the ceiling, large white trestles add texture and beauty, while anchoring the entire space.
A yellow side table and lampshade pop against the gray walls of this transitional master bedroom. The sitting area is ideal for enjoying the outside view, while blackout-lined drapery accented with a yellow satin band allows for total darkness when sleeping.
Special occasions call for a meal in the dining room. To ensure that the space would feel less formal and more approachable to guests, the designers outfitted the space with a distressed buffet and a farmhouse-style table. A beaded chandelier and an Asian-inspired triptych pack in even more visual interest.
