Neutral Mediterranean Kitchen with White Cabinets
As seen on Home Town, the Watts Residence has been fully renovated by Ben and Erin Napier. The new kitchen no longer has the dark cabinets that closed off the room. Wood veneer cabinets were added to the bottom to tie in with the existing brick floor and lighter white cabinets where added on the wall to brighten up the room. The kitchen now opens to the dining and into the living areas creating a more open floor plan.
A butcher block countertop holds up to daily use, while also serving an aesthetic purpose by adding warmth and texture. White shaker-style cabinets give this kitchen a classic look. Black barn style pendant lights hang over the kitchen island.

Gorgeous wood ceiling beams and a pair of iron chandeliers give this kitchen a touch of Mediterranean rusticity without losing its sense of the traditional. The soft green walls are a perfect backdrop for the white cabinetry, adding a freshness to the overall look.
In this open kitchen, an island helps define the space and provides a casual dining spot. Black barn pendant lights and white kitchen cabinets with hammered metal knobs give the kitchen some subtle country style.
Variegated concrete pavers with an arabesque form give this kitchen courtyard the impression of age. The wrought-iron window grates, lanterns and gate, as well as the fountain opposite the doors, enhance the Spanish sensibility.
Neutral Mediterranean Kitchen with Neutral Dining Area
As seen on Home Town, Ben and Erin Napier completely changed the look of the dining area in the Watts Residence renovation. The room originally had dark paneling, dark cabinets, dark doors, and even dark railing. The new paneling and doors have been painted a brighter white and the new kitchen cabinets open up the dining room to give the whole living space a fresh, open feeling.
