The dark wood cabinetry, neutral tile backsplash and beige walls help make this cozy kitchen a warm and inviting atmosphere. A built-in wine refrigerator is the perfect accompaniment to bar seating and provides additional countertop space for entertaining. Design by Beth Haley
Pale wood nightstands and a trio of wooden mirrors add a rustic element to this gorgeous bedroom. A transitional platform bed is topped with luxe bedding that coordinates with the artwork. Two-toned curtains add dimension to the teal accent wall.
A warm fire crackles in the living room of this beautiful Asheville, NC, mansion. Tall ceilings and a warm color palette invite guests to read a book from the library, or have a seat in red, cushioned chairs.
In this bedroom, designers went with a neutral color palette that would anchor the space and reflect the natural light that comes into the space from the room's large windows. A beige colored wallpaper accent wall creates a focal point in the space, while the tan headboard and the sandy wood nightstand add even more warmth to the room's design.
In the bedroom, the black and white palette of the living room is flipped on its head with moody black walls. The color is Wrought Iron, from the AphroChic Brooklyn In Color paint collection. Bright pops of color from a decorative gallery wall of baskets and an antique Persian rug break up the dark colors in the room.
Here, a palette of two rich colors creates a warm, inviting atmosphere that packs a bold punch. A yellow contoured sofa is paired with multicolored throw pillows and an orange chair to create a small sitting area beside a balcony.
The kids' bathroom was updated to be bright and durable without breaking the budget. The gray vanity helps to break up the white tile, and the brass fixtures add a subtle bit of warmth. The flooring was a splurge since the homeowner loved it, but the budget was balanced using simple subway tile on the walls.
This cozy living and dining space has a warm, welcoming feel. The white wicker chairs and long wood dining table give a cottage farmhouse feel while the living area offers a more sophisticated contemporary sitting area with warm elements. The varied styles are blended seamlessly with a uniform color palette.
