Southwestern Wet Bar With Animal Hide Wallcovering
This Southwestern-style bar showcases hair-on-hide panels as wallcovering and floating glass shelves suspended by threaded rebar rods with bolts to support the glass. The cowhides are arranged diagonally to create additional visual interest where they meet in the middle of the wall.
Powder Room Features Bark Wallcovering, Unusual Sink
Double entry doors are upholstered with a patterned fabric. The back wall showcases an open weave bark wallcovering that leaves some of the red wall beyond exposed. The sink is repurposed chicken wire filled with a bag of river rocks with a function stainless sink hidden below the wood timbers. Water falls into the basin through the rocks, creating a nice soothing sound.
Glamorous Bedroom With Mirrored Nightstand and Toile Wallcovering
This mirrored nightstand echoes the opulent finishes used throughout this bedroom designed by Erinn Valencich. Note her clever lighting trick: "I decided to hang pendant lights over each nightstand instead of using standard lamps," she says. This leaves the table surface free for other items. Storage is also available inside the table behind the touch-latch doors.
Powder Room Features Silk Fabric Wallcovering and Gold and Onyx Mosaic Tile
Designer Julie Rootes sought inspiration from natural elements for the powder room at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase 2015. Jim Thompson's "Tibetan Sun" silk fabric serves as the focal wallcovering and is complemented by 24-karat gold and onyx glass mosaic tile and a Calacatta gold marble sink.
This handsome wallcovering is not paper, but a textile with details just like a tailored suit. The dark backdrop accented by thin, colorful stripes creates an imaginative, masculine look. On the walls: Maya Romanoff wallcovering
A graphite grasscloth wallcovering adds drama to the lounge designed by Brian Watford for a Southeastern Designer Showhouse in Atlanta. The wallcovering, from Phillip Jeffries’ Nailed It collection, has gold rivets.
