Hosts Jonathan and Drew Scott in front of the home of Jen and Matt McAfee in Valencia, CA as seen on season one of HGTV's Brother Vs. Brother. For the final challenge of the season, the remaining members of Team Drew lost Monica Reese who joined Team Jonathan. The two teams will have three days to renovate two identical homes in Valencia, Calif. One of the winning team members will be crowned champion of Brother Vs. Brother and win $50,000.
The final challenge of HGTV's Brother Vs. Brother calls for quadruple the judging power. Jonathan and Drew bring in power couple and Flip or Flop hosts Tarek and Christina El Moussa and Love It or List It hosts Hilary Farr and David Visentin to weigh in on the teams' designs.
This stylish living room got a makeover from Team Drew on HGTV's Brother vs. Brother. A decorative chair rail calls out the two-toned walls, while purple accents– including a pair of graceful accent chairs – play up the warm gray hues throughout the space.
Team Jonathan takes on a similar home to Team Drew's: a 1967 tract-style house with five bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms and a current market value of $700,000. Homeowners Eli and Irina desperately want an updated master suite with more color, more closet space and a more efficient layout in the bathroom as seen on HGTV's Brother Vs. Brother.
Here’s an easy rule of thumb for arranging groups of items: Always stick with odd numbers. This creates a less fussy final effect, and allows you to create a sense of dimension—as the design team did here, creating two rows of trees, with three in back and two in front. Varying the sizes and/or heights of your items will help create a more engaging arrangement, as well.
