Master Bedroom with Mid-Century Furnishings, Shiplap Accent Wall
A shiplap accent wall creates a subtle focal point in this minimalist master bedroom. White walls form a backdrop to an earthy palette brought forth in fabrics and accessories. Case pieces reflect the home's mid-century architecture.
Contemporary Dining Room With White Ship Lap Accent Wall and Wood Dining Furniture
The view into the dining area shows how the white painted ship lap accent wall allows the plants and wood furniture to come to life. White chairs at the ends of the table add an extra pop of style to the dining set up. Hanging succulents and indoor plants add natural life and color to the design.
The home's interior has an industrial farm feel with floating metal shelves, exposed wood beams, dark stained wood floors, a high-contrast palette and — of course — lots and lots of shiplap. This is, after all, Fixer Upper.
Bohemian Style Contemporary Living Room With White Ship Lap Wall, Brown Leather Sectional and Macrame Wall Hang
The DIY coffee table is made from a broken clock face transformed into a live edge table with hair pin legs. A white ship lap accent wall creates a white on white texture display with the unbleached macrame fiber art. A large leather sectional is decorated with a mix of patterned pillows and throw blankets. Wicker baskets provide decorative storage.
The living room of the newly renovated Magnolia House bed and breakfast has been completely transformed. Walls were removed to open the space, new windows and flooring were installed and shiplap walls now brightens up the space, as seen on HGTV's Fixer Upper.
Designer Karen Swanson of New England Design Works used found plywood to create unique walls that resemble shiplap siding. A stunning round chandelier with Edison bulbs is a charming edition to the room.
Though the home was essentially gutted from the ground up, the design team used reclaimed wood beams and shiplap walls to preserve its sense of character and charm. They then layered in neutral furniture and rugs to create an inviting space for the owners.
This master bathroom is simple and serene, with a traditional vanity, cabinet, clawfoot tub and lightweight curtains. Floor-to-ceiling windows fill the space with sunlight and make it look all the more inviting.
Distressed, reclaimed wood planks line the pitched ceiling to add texture and visual interest to this staircase. Iron lantern wall sconces give the space a cozy, inviting farmhouse vibe. A wall of windows keeps the stairs from feeling closed-off or dim.
White Ship Lap Accent Wall in Contemporary Dining Room With Natural Wood Finishes and Vibrant Indoor Plants
A white ship lap wall creates a bright background for the wood furniture and vibrant plant life in this dining room. Natural wood finishes bring a beautiful and cozy look to the design. Art mounted over the wet bar decorates the wall and compliments the southwestern influence in the room.
