Rustic, Neutral Dining Room
This dining room covers all ends of the brown spectrum. A classic dining set is surrounded by bamboo and a decorative sculpture, creating a nice blend of modernity and tradition. Giant leaning floor mirrors are a nice addition to accentuate warm track lighting and make the room appear larger.
In the new dining room, existing windows were replaced with French doors and sidelights to bring lots of natural light into the space. Joanna added a statement chandelier, rustic wood dining table, and glass-front bookcase, also in the natural wood finish.
Rustic Neutral Dining Room with Brown French Doors
The newly remodeled dining room is bright and open with new recessed lighting and French doors that let in plenty of natural light, helping give the impression of a larger space. Chip installed wood floors with a stylized inlay pattern and border.
Start the dinner party around the rustic reclaimed-wood table, then move into the living room for after-dinner drinks. A nailhead-trimmed upholstered stool acts as an impromptu extra dining chair and storage.
A rustic chandelier adds a layer of drama to this otherwise simple dining room. The perpendicular placement of the table in front of the sliding glass doors allows almost every seat to take in the gorgeous views.
