She used a collection of salvaged and antique toys along with some of her son's photos and artwork to stage these rooms.
As seen on DIy Network's Rehab Addict, Nicole Curtis restored the formal dining room to its original beauty. Nicole painted the walls above the hand carved African mahogany fireplace and panels dark gray to draw the eye up to the molding on the ceiling. She removed the 1970s glass and brass fireplace doors, and replaced the wall sconces with more period appropriate versions. Cracked and warped stained glass windows were repaired.
