Bright White Master Bedroom With Patterned Curtains
Once dark and outdated, this master suite is now a *dream* with bright white walls, a chic light fixture and patterned accessories. By moving the bed to the center of the room, designer Kelly Rogers restructured the floor plan and created plenty of spaces for reading, relaxing and of course, sleeping.
A contemporary four poster bed blends old and new with a black and white color palette, softened by gray window treatments, bed linens and an area rug. The fireplace is filled with candles and showcases framed art above.
An understated design in this loft's master bedroom keeps the attention on the dramatic New York City views through the windows. Built-in wall shelves mimic the design of the windows, while the cool tones of the bed frame and headboard add some contrast.
Thick velvet curtains in rich fall colors were the palette inspiration for this master bedroom. The strong color is continued in the headboard and velvet chair. A dresser-turned-nightstand solves a need for extra storage.
