Red, White and Blue Bedroom
The exterior roofline creates a gabled ceiling in the master bedroom of HGTV Green Home 2010, punctuated by bold colors and feminine touches. The four-poster bed, which carpenter David Brown crafted from old doors purchased at Habitat for Humanity, is dressed in a collection of mod pillows and organic cotton sateen sheets, block-printed by hand.
A red shaker-style, pencil-post bed with a paisley spread sets the stage in this Americana design. This guest suite incorporates iconic symbols and distinctly-patterned fabrics, including gingham carpet, to achieve the look.
Red, White and Blue Bedroom With Painted Headboards
In order to unify the two full beds in this bedroom, matching upholstered headboards were added as well as a joined painted decorative headboard. The mixed blue-and-white patterns of the bed linen add a further visual twist.
Red White and Blue Bedroom With Board and Batten Molding
This bedroom was designed for a preteen boy using a red white and blue color scheme. The bed was positioned to create a sense of openness, and dark blue board and batten molding was added to the lower portion of the wall.
Red, White and Blue Eclectic Bedroom With Wallpapered Ceiling
Deep blue Gracie wallpaper makes a visual escape on the ceiling of this compelling bedroom. The color is picked up in the window's wooden trim, while the bold graphic print of the shade adds an eccentric visual punch.
Whimsical Red, White and Blue Child’s Bedroom with Fabric and Wallpaper
Striped tent valances with red cotton poplin trim and trellis-patterned wallpaper, all from Schumacher, are used in the 2017 Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Homes for the Holidays Designer Showhouse. Atlanta designer Mallory Mathison Glenn said she was inspired by the colors of the French flag and Schumacher’s classic pastoral print, “Plaisirs de Chine,” seen on the pillow sham and duvet. The headboard is vintage faux bamboo and the coverlet has banding in blue. A demilune bench is at the foot of the bed. Mathison Glenn also used a watercolor painting over the bed, an antique French commode and an octagonal mirror in the space.
A red, white and blue color palette gives this room a sophisticated, patriotic vibe. A red four poster bed with red patterned bedding is a bold statement in the space, which also features two floral-print chairs and a transitional console table.
Rich blues and reds elegantly decorate this bedroom that features an entire wall of windows looking out over Lake Washington and the homes of Bellevue. In the bay window, a green settee welcomes afternoons of daydreaming.
