This laundry room lives much larger than its square footage, thanks to smart planning by Geoff Chick & Associates. The base cabinets that flank the washer and dryer are just 18 inches deep, but extending the wall of cabinetry all the way to the 12-foot ceiling vastly increases the usable space. Windows visually expand the room; the natural light flooding in enhances the warm notes in the soft gray paint. "Most laundry rooms are tucked away in a dark corner or in the basement," Chick notes.

A black and white striped accent wall showcases multicolored letters in this boy's nursery. Green patterned crib cushions are matched with a green spotted rug and monogrammed green throw pillow. A gray chevron light fixture and black and white graphic curtain add more pleasing patterns to the mix.
Gorgeous Eclectic Boy's Nursery With Bold Graphic Designs
A natural wood accent wall sets a lovely textured background for the mix of wall decor in this beautiful boy's nursery. Inspirational quotes, a labradoodle and creative book page letters keep the nursery happy and colorful. Bigger pops of bright color come from the graphic patterns on the rug, crib cushions, ottoman and throw pillow and the vibrant navy blue velvet armchair.
The kitchen features custom inset painted white cabinetry with dark soapstone countertops and gray glazed subway tile backsplash, characteristic of a Cape Cod home. Custom wood hood over the range provides a beautiful focal point and better ventilation to the room.
Calm Cream-Colored Bedroom Feels Like Serene Retreat
Warm cream and gray tones in this bedroom create a calm, serene retreat while the velvet upholstered stools and fur throw add a soft, textural touch. The upholstered headboard adds to the luxurious feel while the cream area rug adds warmth and texture to the bedroom.
A mint and gray floral wallpaper is the backdrop for this pretty, feminine bedroom. Soft hues allow several patterns to blend rather than clash, and the luxe sheen of the gray bedding adds even more visual impact.
Country Wood Dining Set Adjacent to Contemporary Kitchen
Gray concrete flooring provides a smooth connection for the rooms in this open floor plan. From the contemporary kitchen, a large opening leads to the dining space. A wood table with matching chairs, floral roman shades and blue walls decorate the room with a country style.
