Host a Holiday Party with a Hot Toddy Station
Keep your guests warm and in good spirits with a simple spot dedicated to mixing the perfect cold weather drink. The wrap-around porch of the 2015 HGTV.com Holiday House is the perfect spot to welcome guests for holiday soirees. Upon greeting, invite guests to mix up their own hot toddy to help beat the cold and enjoy the festivities.
This hilltop home and garden in Bel Air boldly pairs modern design with sustainable practices. As guests move from the courtyard to back of the house, they'll find various grasses, sculptural succulents and a grove of Eucalyptus trees -- all of which require little water and maintenance. Sansevieria plants introduce this idea in the clean, contemporary courtyard.

This contemporary outdoor space shines at night thanks to landscape lighting and a warm glow cast by the pool house. A dining table and chairs sit just a few steps to the left, allowing the owners and their friends to enjoy dinner al fresco.
Mudroom with Pantry Space with White Cabinetry and Black Pegboard
White, modern slab face cabinets hide a decent amount of pantry space and utility closet and feature great leather handles. A giant pegboard allows flexibility for whatever storage needs may arise. Pegs can be rearranged to hold towels, hats, life vests, etc.
For this remodel we wanted to update this space to create a timeless Master Suite. By keeping the walls a lighter color and adding softness to the widows we created a space that is tranquil and inviting. The dark furniture is a good grounding feature to this overall light space. By creating those contrasts it makes this space feel sophisticated and tailored.
To give the homeowners an additional seating option in their master space, designers brought in a pair of Boho chairs and coffee table for the master bedroom. To make this area more comfy, they added a faux animal skin rug for a soft touch.
Moroccan-Inspired Master Bedroom With Custom Upholstered Bed
This Moroccan-inspired master bedroom features a custom-designed, upholstered bed with nailhead trim. HGTV Design Star contestant Danielle Colding revitalized an armoire by adding black lacquer and funky, one-of-a-kind hardware.
Mediterranean Wine Cellar With Tasting Table and Brick Ceiling
This rustic wine cellar features glass front cabinets, showing off a floor-to-ceiling wine collection. A branch-like chandelier hangs from a brick-lined ceiling, while a dark wood tasting table sits at the center. Leather wrapped dining chairs are positioned around the table.
The bright blue dresser turned changing table makes a dramatic statement in this contemporary boy's nursery. A striped rug softens the hardwood floors, while a round mirror with wooden frame adds a rustic touch. Well-placed baskets are perfect for quick cleanup.
Neutral Craftsman Dining Room with Custom Wood Dining Table
As seen on HGTV's Home Town, Hosts Ben and Erin Napier renovated the dining room and revealed all the original wall paneling that was originally on the walls in the Rahaim residence. The dining table was a project that homeowner Cassidy Rahaim and Host Ben Napier worked on together as a gift for homeowner Robyn.
Fireplace Focal Point with Effortless Tile and a Family Heirloom Painting
To update the fireplace, designers replaced the original hearth tile with tile that feels effortless, as if it had been there forever. To make the feature special to the homeowners, it features a family heirloom painting that completes the design's natural feeling for the family.
