ESCAPE Vista's Open Floor Plan
This modern tiny home uses wall to wall windows to make the space feel large and bright. Light colored maple wood makes up the floors, ceilings and cabinets and reflects the natural light of the outdoors, giving the space an open feeling.
As seen on HGTV's House Hunters Renovation, with the help of interior designer Jorge Da Rosa, the home owner's created an open, functional kitchen-to-living-room space perfect for entertaining. Warm-toned brown walls and medium-dark hardwood floors contrast with the crisp white ceiling and grey and white kitchen cabinets. Occasional splashes of color, like the green tiled backsplash and the yellow inside the cabinets add contrast and visual interest.
A soft and soothing living space with a cozy sectional manages to separate the open kitchen and living room in this home, without creating too much division. Complementary tans and gray-blues subtly tie together the two spaces.
Natural wood beams stretch across the ceiling of this open floor plan dining room that looks out onto a swimming pool in the backyard oasis. Using neutral colors and large glass panel doors, natural light is invited inside to create an aesthetically pleasing space.
The formal dining room and kitchen effortlessly define themselves as separate spaces in this spacious open floor plan. The use of different custom upholstery in each room creates a sense of style while simultaneously distinguishing them from one another.
Exposed ceiling beams bring a rustic quality to this contemporary Parisian apartment. The open floor plan connects the kitchen, dining room and living room, while white walls keep the space light and airy. A long dining table has seating for eight.
The open floor plan is perfect for families and entertaining. Traditional white cabinets pair with a gray kitchen island, which mimics the color scheme in the living room furniture. The cozy breakfast area features a round table with pretty blue chairs.
