Traditional Bathroom with Open-Air Shower
A wet room-style shower takes advantage of a row of curving windows that overlook spectacular views. The Naples, Florida, home is the pinnacle of luxury, with rich architectural details and a traditional, elegant decorative style. A mirror above this custom vanity mimics the curving lines of the room.
Fixer Upper Host Joanna Gaines decided to surprise Becky and Heath by transforming the once awkward atrium into an open-air herb garden. Located right off the kitchen and dining area, the courtyard is a perfect place to entertain; a fragrant herb garden makes prepping delicious meals easy.
Located in the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica, this master suite opens to a large terrace overlooking the ocean. The movable glass-wall system, in conjunction with custom-made louvers from native species of wood, allows for flexibility in this tropical climate. The wicker rug below the sofa and chairs is built to sustain wear and tear, but also to give texture to the space, and the large, open window on the back wall gives patrons of this room the feeling of connecting with nature, while maintaining the luxuries of the indoors.

To give the Olsons the ultimate master suite, Chip Wade and his team from HGTV's hit show Elbow Room created an open air bathroom with double vanities, a double shower, a large soaker tub and beautiful light fixtures.
