Neutral Contemporary Dining Room with Brown Dining Table
By far the most significant modification in this renovation was the opening up of two walls that had separated the dining room from an adjacent breakfast room and the kitchen. The new design made way for an enlarged kitchen, and the combined spaces now feels much more open and welcoming with an improved flow and sight-line.
In the new dining room, existing windows were replaced with French doors and sidelights to bring lots of natural light into the space. Joanna added a statement chandelier, rustic wood dining table, and glass-front bookcase, also in the natural wood finish.
Rustic Dining Table Adds Warmth to Contemporary Neutral Dining Room
The rustic wood dining table adds a natural and warm element to the contemporary neutral dining room. The succulent centerpiece featuring small pebbles in a rustic wood bowl adds a bit of green and another wood element to the space.
This all-white dining room features rustic touches, like the red brick fireplace and reclaimed wood dining table. White faux fur throws are draped over the dining chairs, while colorful wall art finishes off the look of the space.
This dining room covers all ends of the brown spectrum. A classic dining set is surrounded by bamboo and a decorative sculpture, creating a nice blend of modernity and tradition. Giant leaning floor mirrors are a nice addition to accentuate warm track lighting and make the room appear larger.
