Neutral Craftsman Master Bedroom with Black Iron Framed Bed
The queen sized bed with classic black iron frame was selected by Erin and Mallorie to match the simplicity and period of a Craftsman home. Antique record boxes from the 1930s used to create custom shadowbox-style shelves.
This simple master bedroom features a neutral palette, offering a soft, relaxing vibe to the space. Black nightstands with painted metallic designs frame a taupe bed, while black French doors provide patio access. A neutral armchair in the corner provides a comfortable spot for cozying up with a book.
Designers wanted the master bedroom space to be flooding with natural light, so they included a large wall of black, iron French doors and high side windows on either side of the bed. They kept the fabric and the paint colors in the space neutral in order to reflect the beautiful, Arizona sunshine.
Taupe and Gunmetal Striped Master Bedroom With Upholstered Shag Cube Stools and Natural Wood Headboard
Taupe and gunmetal are two new neutrals that have great versatility for use in a wide variety of rooms. Here, the two colors were used to add horizontal stripes to a master bedroom lacking in architectural interest. A shag area rug and shag upholstered cube stools add soft texture to the room while a natural wood bed frame and headboard add a touch of craftsman influence.
