Modern Black-And-White Living Room
This modern living room showcases a black, white and gray color scheme from top to bottom. Boxed, gray chandeliers with metal frames hang above crisp, white walls with black painted built-ins flanking the TV and fireplace. A large, white sectional sofa sits beneath the second floor balcony with a glass railing allowing visibility to the large-scale black-and-white paintings.
This modern living room features a large tile accent wall over a white sectional sofa. In the middle of the room sits a Noguchi coffee table on a shag rug, defining the sitting space from the dining area in the corner.
This open concept living room flows out to the deck with ocean views or into the dining room. Neutral, low-profile furniture doesn't distract from the beachside views. A dark wood frame makes the TV less noticeable.
This midcentury-modern living room boasts plentiful windows with a beautiful outdoor view and lots of natural light. Natural toned carpet adds a textural counterpoint to the midcentury furniture. Modern but not stuffy or severe, this living room is a great place for relaxing and or catch up on some reading.
Contemporary art hangs on the walls in this modern, white living room with high, vaulted ceilings. The space is large and welcoming for guests, with plenty of seating on the blue, tufted velvet sofa and vintage chairs near the modern, gas fireplace.
This comfortable, modern living room is bright and spacious and features a large blue sectional with a chaise at both ends for extra lounge room. The space is open and airy, but can become dark and perfect for movie viewing with window treatments that block unwanted light from the oversized curved windows.
Neutral tones and Scandinavian-inspired furniture fill this modern living room. Framed records hang above the wall-mounted TV opposite a large navy sofa with chaise. Oversized windows let it lots of natural light and are treated with neutral, horizontally-striped drapes.
To make the living room functional for the family and their guests, designers brought in a large sectional two modern chairs and two benches to provide plenty of seating in the space. For additional storage, bookshelves were added behind each side of the sofa.
