Open Gray Media Console in Neutral Contemporary Living Space
Because the front door opens into the main living space of this 600-square-foot home, designer Gail Fedela custom-designed a slim entertainment console that wouldn’t obstruct the entryway. Hardwood flooring and neutral walls unify the compact, family-friendly spaces.
A rich-grained wood console holds court in this Southwestern-inspired living room. The console sits beneath a flat-panel TV, offering a perfect surface on which to display knickknacks as well as to conceal media inside.
Throwback to the old days with this playroom featuring a vintage game system and roller skates. A floating media console modernizes the space. Wallpaper with a subtle game system pattern completes the design.
On one side of the master bedroom, upholstered leather armchairs flank the media console, which provides ample storage space for movies and other media essentials. Bright blue accessories add a lovely accent color to the rich brown color palette.
Colorful contemporary vases adorn this traditional cream media console, adding pizzazz to the classic piece. Sleek speakers and a flat-screen TV are mounted above the console, completing the functional space.
In case you need a reminder, the purpose in this living space is to RELAX! Of note: The letters in the word are made from maps, a unique take on the design element. A cheery lamp and throw blanket add touches of color to the room.
