Master Bathroom With Gray Wall Treatment
It’s the small details that really pull this HGTV Smart Home 2015 master bathroom together. According to the home’s interior designer, Linda Woodrum, “It’s very fun and very glamorous in here with a big fluffy shag rug and a lot of silver.”
Of the five beautiful bedrooms in the house, this master suite is easily the most impressive. Here, a shimmering wall treatment catches the natural light, while a canopy bed encourages the owners to relax in style.
According to interior designer Linda Woodrum, the master bedroom walls in HGTV Smart Home 2015 were executed under a very fast-paced timeline. “The room was a metamorphosis when we went up,” says Linda. “The boards (along the walls) replicate the vertical board and battens that are outside on the exterior of the house, so that’s the connection.” By mirroring the outside look within the master bedroom, the home’s modern, Texas style is elevated and really driven home.
This contemporary master bathroom exudes a sense of elegance with its high-end fixtures and finishes. The white marble countertops provide a nice contrast to the gray tile walls and dark floating vanity.
This master bathroom features a sleek dark brown vanity paired with a gray and white marble countertop. A horizontal mirror is positioned above the vanity, while the adjacent gray tile wall offers a fitting accent. Chrome fixtures, like the vanity faucet, provide a finishing touch.
Stepping into the master bathroom reveals a beautiful blue tile treatment in the shower and on the floors. Arched ceilings make the space feel nice and open, while a door fills the bathroom with natural light.
This gorgeous modern master bedroom tastefully mixes patterns, from stripes to chevron, to create a beautifully unique space with a cohesive color story. The space is lit with a fantastic custom chandelier and built-in his-and-hers lighting on the headboard.
One area of this renovated master bathroom is dedicated to the shower and tub. The tub is this freestanding beauty, with a recessed niche in the marble wall above it to hold toiletries and the occasional flower!
The monochromatic foundation is infused with a variety of textures and materials, including the graphic-printed wallpaper, to create a visually enticing bathroom. A large mirror helps to expand the space and reflect light around the room.
