Traditional White Kitchen, Wood Beams and Open Shelving
Traditional white cabinets set the tone for a bright, crisp kitchen design. Open shelving and exposed wood beams add character, as well a warmth to the space. Two glass pendant lights hang above this spacious wood island, creating a gathering spot for guests.
Built-in, open shelving helps to visually open the small kitchen, and strategically placed gallery lighting makes artwork of even the tableware. To break up the monotony of the all-white palette, the design team introduced a variety of textures, including plank board behind the shelving and subway tile behind the range. Dark pulls contrast with the white cabinetry.
Natural Wood Country Kitchen With Bright, White Cabinetry and Industrial Open Shelving
This kitchen redesign gave the opportunity to incorporate some of the more traditional and farmhouse elements that the clients were looking for while still tying the look to the existing lines of the home. The stained shiplap and informal dining space provides a decidedly rustic feel but is balanced with contemporary open shelving with black metal frames and glass shelf inserts.
Country Kitchen Featuring Natural Wood Walls, Open Industrial Shelving and White Farmhouse Sink
Black frames and glass shelf plates create an open shelving set up over the natural wood walls in this kitchen set up. The smooth white countertops and cabinets are a lovely contrast to the wood finish. A white farmhouse sink is centered below the window.
Spacious, Open Design Kitchen With Eat-In Island, White Cabinets Over White Brick Wall and Exposed Wood Beams
White brick adds texture as a subtle accent wall in this sunny kitchen design. Floating shelves framed with white cabinetry offer concealed and open storage options. A natural hardwood finish on the floor and exposed wood beams on the ceiling bring a cohesive feel to the design. White wicker chairs are lined on one side of the large island with polished marble countertop.
Contemporary Meets Rustic in an Apple-Green Kitchen
Contemporary stainless-steel appliances, industrial-style lighting and a metal dining set give this kitchen an edgy flair, while the wood ceiling beam, open shelving and natural stone provide a rustic feel.
Stunning Country Kitchen Features Dark Wood Coffered Ceiling
This gorgeous open plan kitchen includes elegant traditional white cabinetry and a wrought iron chandelier. But its standout feature is the coffered ceiling with its dark wood exposed beams, strikingly contrasting the light color palette.
Open Plan Kitchen Combines Rustic, Industrial Materials
The design team removed all downstairs walls to create an open-concept kitchen, dining and living area. In the kitchen, rustic elements like wood shelving and ceiling beams combine with industrial touches, like track lighting and concrete floors. Corrugated tin between the ceiling beams provides a custom and unexpected touch.
Oversized Kitchen Peninsula With Wine Refrigerator
The combination of exposed wooden beams and sleek open shelving gives this kitchen a unique style. A wine fridge in the peninsula was a bonus feature in the stunning space, which features state-of-the-art appliances.
The warm feel of the loft's Douglas fir and pine timber beams is carried into the kitchen via wood shelves, barstools and even the cutting boards. The shelving is open, letting the handsome ceramic dishes be an integral part of the decor.
