Great Room With Contemporary Mediterranean Style
This family room is designed to feel soft and fun but still sophisticated. Blue walls liven up the look, while a stunning white leather sectional offers a more grown-up piece to anchor the child-friendly space.
This fun, warm family room also works as a great room as it shares an open space with the kitchen and dining area. The designer felt the room needed to honor that openness and connect the spaces while retaining its own identity. For the reason, having a low-profile sofa with an adjustable back that lifts up or sets down delineates the family room without being a barrier.
Textured walls create a neutral setting for this Old World-style living room. Grounded by red brick flooring and a traditional area rug, the comfortable seating area features an oversized leather brown sectional and ottoman. In the corner is a Mediterranean-inspired fireplace, adding warmth to the space.
The stunning great room is a casual, family-friendly space that opens up to outdoor kitchen and living room. A stacked stone focal wall brings a rustic quality to the room, while soft neutral tile grounds the space.
Rustic elements combine with contemporary lines in this fresh, stylish family room. White walls and white seating cultivate a bright, airy atmosphere, and shots of pink and black in the accessories add depth and interest.
