Rustic Neutral Kitchen Featuring Green Cabinets with Glass Doors
As seen on Rock the Block, HGTV star Jasmine Roth built a huge island covered with Dolomite marble and Northern California Dark Walnut with seating for eight, and floor to ceiling custom glass cabinets, to transform the kitchen of her house and “rock” it to the highest increase in market value to win season one of Rock The Block.
Rustic Neutral Kitchen with White Tile Backsplash and Green Cabinets
An innovative designer, Jasmine stepped outside the box and chose a beautiful dolomite stone countertop for her kitchen island. Since the stone is porous, she sealed it with a UV-cured acrylic for durability. She also extended the island by a couple of feet, adding a live edge piece of wood that waterfalls over one end. To save money, she kept the original kitchen countertops and cooktop, and repurposed, then painted the original cabinetry.
For a truly custom look, Jasmine replaced some of the upper cabinets with open shelving, installed a trendy square-tile backsplash and wrapped the range hood in wood, painting it to match the rest of the space.
Traditional Open Plan Kitchen With Red Brick Backsplash
This bright and open kitchen features neutral cabinets and textured walls paired with dark brown hardwood floors. Traditional wooden stools with neutral seats line the green French country style island, while lantern pendant lights hang above. A red brick backsplash adds a rustic touch.
