According to interior designer Linda Woodrum, the master bedroom walls in HGTV Smart Home 2015 were executed under a very fast-paced timeline. “The room was a metamorphosis when we went up,” says Linda. “The boards (along the walls) replicate the vertical board and battens that are outside on the exterior of the house, so that’s the connection.” By mirroring the outside look within the master bedroom, the home’s modern, Texas style is elevated and really driven home.
This gorgeous modern master bedroom tastefully mixes patterns, from stripes to chevron, to create a beautifully unique space with a cohesive color story. The space is lit with a fantastic custom chandelier and built-in his-and-hers lighting on the headboard.
Of the five beautiful bedrooms in the house, this master suite is easily the most impressive. Here, a shimmering wall treatment catches the natural light, while a canopy bed encourages the owners to relax in style.
It’s the small details that really pull this HGTV Smart Home 2015 master bathroom together. According to the home’s interior designer, Linda Woodrum, “It’s very fun and very glamorous in here with a big fluffy shag rug and a lot of silver.”

An abundance of natural light flows into the master bedroom from the wall of glass windows where its occupants can enjoy unobstructed views of the mountains. The plush, cozy bed backs up to a wall of Montana moss rock while two armchairs offer a peaceful spot to enjoy coffee in the mornings.

Modern Master Bedroom With Wrap-Around Wood Treatment
A rich black accent wall sets the tone for this master bedroom, making the space look chic yet subdued for sleep. By extending the wood paneling from the ceiling to the wall, the designers created a smart backdrop on which to layer an upholstered headboard and two nightstands.
Tropical Neutral Master Bedroom Opens to Gorgeous Lanai
Custom doors open from this tropical master bedroom to the attached lanai, which allows natural light to stream through the space. The neutral color palette with coral accents lends a clean, beachy vibe to the space.
Gorgeous Mod Master Bedroom With Neural Tones & Glass Fireplace
A neutral palette, beautiful modern elements and low furniture create a calm and stylish look in this master bedroom. Long tile covers an accent wall behind the bed with a connected side table supporting the cube lamp. A shag rug softens the floor under the eye-catching glass fireplace. Glass walls create a natural separation from the bathroom while still keeping the space open.

This master bedroom gets its pizzazz by presenting a wall of carnation wallpaper in red and cream. The pattern repeats on the pillow shams. The chair, bench, standing lamp and drapes continue the red theme for a beautifully-designed room.
A show-stopping accent wall forms the focal point in this transitional master bedroom in a Colorado penthouse. The transparent headboard allows the wall's design to peek through, and a bolster pillow atop the neutral bed pulls from the vivid jade in the wall treatment.
