No luxury feature is spared in this incredible custom kitchen, right down to drawer and cabinet compartments lined with leather. Spot the carved lion's head above the custom mural, which depicts the homeowner's own house among vineyards. Rich oak cabinetry built in France covers side-by-side Sub-Zero refrigerators, four freezer drawers, and two dishwashers beside the apron sink. Flanking the mural are two pilasters where the homeowner hangs her kitchen towels and hides her dish soap. In the island is a second sink, a Kohler Pro Cook, which doubles as a pasta cooker. For the grand-kids, a flat-screen TV pulls down from above the cabinets.
Custom Banquette Gives Modern Kitchen an Eat-In Component
The owner wanted a place where his family could enjoy meals together, so designers added a custom banquette to give the kitchen an eat-in space, while the fun upholstery makes the space lively and casual. Although the main function of the banquette is to provide seating for the family, it serves the dual purpose of hiding the radiator in the home and was built to be easily taken apart and moved in case repairs need to be made.

White Coastal Kitchen Remodel is Bright and Welcoming
Designer Becki Owens transformed this formerly dark Tuscan kitchen into an inviting, coastal heart of the home. Calcutta marble is used for the countertops and backsplash, and the once brown cabinets are painted bright white, bringing a fresh new look to the space. Soft color is brought into the room with a custom-made linen Roman shade.
As seen on Love It Or List It, Too the room was previously open on the garden facing wall, but had a shoebox for a kitchen and an underused bathroom. Jillian's solution was to blow out the bathroom entirely and insert a 30ft steel beam to support the already vaulted ceiling. With an extra 10 inches of space found in the renovation Jillian's team added a coffered ceiling to delineate the space adding intimacy and definition. The grid prints are of traditional Italian hunting scenes often found in family homes of Italian expats and are a nod to the grid design of the ceiling. A custom sectional was designed so that the homeowners could entertain many guests and take in a football game or two. The wrought iron wall hanging is actually from Egypt, but Jillian felt it gave a country feeling to the home. The components console is custom made. New french doors have been added to the patin entrance and a new gas insert sits on the far wall made of Venetian plaster and box posts, designed to draw the eye upwards into the grand vaulted space.
