The fireplace is clad in the barn wood as well.

The home's interior has an industrial farm feel with floating metal shelves, exposed wood beams, dark stained wood floors, a high-contrast palette and — of course — lots and lots of shiplap. This is, after all, Fixer Upper.
On either side of the fireplace, distressed console tables were brought in to add a bit of warm contrast to the white, shiplap walls. On top of each console table, a lamp with an "X" design nods to the design on the kitchen island, while a geometric sculpture adds texture and a modern element. Finally, lovely pieces of neutral artwork give the living room design some height.
