Elegant Outdoor Space With Swimming Pool
Custom hand-carved stone statues add an artistic element to this outdoor space with swimming pool. A decorative concrete staining technique using acid chemical stains tints the concrete plinths and nearby fire bowls to match the look of the aged statue fountains. Black iridescent glass with charcoal gray grout surrounds the spa that spills into channels and back to pool.
The vision for this ground floor sports room was to provide a comfortable space for the family while maximizing the seating for guests. Using the concepts of scale and proportion, the designers were able to accommodate seating for up to 10 people, which was far better than the five they could fit on the old sectional.
Who says Traditional design has to be boring? Beautifully flocked cameo wallpaper and a custom roman shade with valance make a bold statement in contrast to the neutral tones used throughout the space.
A blue tile backsplash is accented with squares made of blue, white and black tiles. The pattern creates a nice decorative touch in a kitchen that has light wood cabinets, stainless appliances and white windows.
