Eclectic Multicolored Living Room With Map Rug
There's a worldly theme going on in this fun eclectic living room: A map rug lies underfoot, a globe sits on a side table, a collection of globes made from repurposed children's books hangs from the ceiling. A mishmash of colors, patterns and textures throughout the rest of the room keeps the space lively and whimsical.
This Tulsa home was originally designed by renowned architect Charles Faudree. But as the years passed, its kitchen needed modernizing, especially for homeowners who love to entertain. A bright white palette and lots of gourmet details checked off all the boxes.
This corner of the guest house is especially comfortable thanks to two plush yellow armchairs and a woven area rug. When they're not curled up with a book, guests can switch on the TV and catch a movie before bed.
This view shows the dining room's central location off the home's front entry, now part of an open great room with wonderful flow and a coordinated look and feel. Removing walls allowed a better connection between spaces and increased the natural light that now floods into this urban home.
