DIY Outdoor Storage Bench: Build the Sides
Drill 3/4” pocket holes into the 1” x 12” boards as shown. Attach them to the legs with 1-1/4” pocket screws and wood glue. The 1” x 12” boards should be 6” from the bottom of the legs and will be flush to the interior edges. Be sure to build two sides that mirror each other.
Tennis Ball Cord Organizer
Use old tennis balls to keep cords organized and within easy reach.
This Tulsa home was originally designed by renowned architect Charles Faudree. But as the years passed, its kitchen needed modernizing, especially for homeowners who love to entertain. A bright white palette and lots of gourmet details checked off all the boxes.
This corner of the guest house is especially comfortable thanks to two plush yellow armchairs and a woven area rug. When they're not curled up with a book, guests can switch on the TV and catch a movie before bed.
This view shows the dining room's central location off the home's front entry, now part of an open great room with wonderful flow and a coordinated look and feel. Removing walls allowed a better connection between spaces and increased the natural light that now floods into this urban home.
