Contemporary White Dining Room with White Oak Dining Table
As seen on Home Town, the Walker's Laurel, MS existing dining room was cold and uninviting was a dark stain on the existing wood floor and a single door in the wall to access the wall paneled kitchen. After the renovations, their dining room now flows right into the large kitchen and features the original hardwood floor refinished, updated furnishings, a custom built white oak buffet table and a custom designed wallpaper wall that host Erin Napier hand drew and sent off to have the wallpaper created for the Walker residence.
This contemporary dining room is a compelling study in textures. The table is a polished white marble, brown velvet chairs line the sides, mirrors make up one wall and visually expand the space and bronze cubes let there be light.
This dining room features an eclectic mix of styles with a French country dining table, contemporary cabinetry and a rustic wall clock. A purple velvet rug adds a dash of luxury to the room, while embroidered slipcovers add a dash of elegance.
Contemporary White Dining Room With Long Marble Table
This 10-foot dining table with a custom-designed Carrera marble top seats six, with room for many more. Three clear spherical pendants hang above, and a custom-designed white board/corkboard adds visual interest to the space.
A large wood farmhouse table adds a rustic touch to this feminine space. Black and white chevron curtains break up the white walls while a neutral pendant light illuminates the table's colorful place settings.
Natural light is the key to ensuring the proper color values of each tone; however, when a white-on-white tablescape is lit artificially or with candlelight, each shade will be strongly influenced by bulbs or flames, causing the colors to read more warmly with yellow undertones.
This formal dining room is the toast of the dinner party thanks to style that's sophisticated but not at all stuffy. At the far end of the space, a bay window makes the ideal nook for a cozy, round table, a pretty spot for breakfast.
Nothing evokes a summer feel quite like starfish and seashells. HGTV fan single_mom_on_a_budget dressed up her shabby chic dining room with her favorite beach elements in mind. She incorporated seashells into her year-round china display and then turned the dining table into a dreamy setup for four. Celebrate summer by creating a seasonal table setup of seashells, starfish, candles and small driftwood pieces. Invite people over for seafood favorites, like grilled fish, pan-roasted scallops and coconut shrimp, to go with the warm-weather theme.
