Potting mix that has fertilizer in it will give your houseplants or other container plants a good start. But eventually, the nutrients will either be used up, or they'll leach out after frequent waterings. When your plants are ready for a boost, apply a slow release fertilizer that lasts for several months, or feed more often with a liquid or water-soluble fertilizer. Stop fertilizing if your indoor plant goes into a period of dormancy for awhile.
A floral-printed host chair sits at the head of this traditional dining room's table complementing the floral lamps and a circular chandelier above. The milky gray backsplash of the small bar area draws the eye into this room.
Custom color cabinets, reclaimed wood shelving, smoked glass uppers, matte black and brass finishes, and postmodern pops make this space completely unique. It's a fun space that's meant to be fresh, inviting, and playful without sacrificing any amenity!
This Spanish Modern house is home to a young family of four. The design is a graceful blend of Art Deco and midcentury styles, with fun pops of color that add life to the rooms. Here, in the living room, white space is just as important as the art pieces, helping to create a sense of peace as well as spotlighting special moments, like the niche above the fireplace.
An entire wall of windows offers vast access to the waterfront view in this bedroom retreat, while loads of seating options provide ample spots to enjoy it. A row of clerestory windows above ushers in even more sunlight, and the mostly white color scheme reflects light, creating an open and airy effect. Pale woods and neutral furnishings allow the view to serve as the focal point of the space.
