On either side of the bunk bed, matching bookshelves let each boy have a space to express himself. The room is bathed in plenty of light from the windows, so the space is still bright and exciting.
The owner of this house was anxious for a space in which she could entertain, so an open concept kitchen was a must. While the kitchen design left her with an open feel, the homeowner needed more space to prepare food, so an oversized island with a prep sink was built in the middle of the space. The island has a breakfast bar which provides extra seating and a perfect place to entertain.
